Cleansing the important part of anti-aging rituals. All the efforts and money spent on anti-aging creams will be a waste if you aren’t cleansing properly. The reason is simple: unless you get rid of the daily built-up of dead skin cells, the anti-ager won’t be effective.
Cleansing in a scientific way is the most effective way to roll away the day and “prep” skin for everything that comes next.
Step 1: Massage your cleanser into dry skin - balm, lotion, cream.
Step 2: Ideally, use a pressure-point massage, making firm, small circular movements starting at a chin-level and working up the cheeks to the eye zone, then shifting along the jaw-bone towards the ears, mid-cheek, cheekbones, forehead. Sweep the fingers more gently around the eyes in the circular but outwards direction. A general firm massage using circular movements will work wonders, improving circulation and decongesting the skin even if precise prescription is not possible.
Step 3: Press on the hot, wet cloth a muslin or a flannel to remove the first load of cleansers and debris. Rinse under hot water a bit more vigorously to swipe away more of the cleanser. Repeat until all the cleanser is swooshed away.
Step 4: Rinse the cloth again and rub at the areas where the skin and make-up built up - like around the nose, the cleft of the chin, and the sides of the face using your fingertip.
Step 5: As the last step, press the cloth on your face after running under cold water.
Here are some of the anti-aging cleansers for you. These will make wonders if you follow the above routine.
